Matt Oliver
Senior Sales Engineer
Matt Oliver joined Hartigan Power Equipment in 2013. He has 20 years of industry experience and has spent more than a decade as a sales engineer for Hartigan supporting utility, oil and gas, renewable, and industrial customers.

Matt is a native of Colorado and grew up in the Littleton area. He graduated with an engineering and business degree from the Colorado School of Mines in 2003 and also played safety on the Mines football team.

Matt and his wife have two daughters who all enjoy the Colorado outdoors, participating in various sports, spending time with family and friends, and traveling the world.

Mark Mitchell
Technical Sales
Mark Mitchell joined Hartigan Power Equipment in 2019. He covers Northern Minnesota and North Dakota for Hartigan.

Mark brings his industrial electronics degree and a strong background in sales, account management, and strategic selling to Hartigan. He has a history of selling into various industries, including utility, water/wastewater, construction, engineering firms, and municipals. He has sold capital equipment as well as services; he also brings his experience owning and running service businesses to the Hartigan team.

Kyle Nordby
Outside Sales Engineer
Kyle Norby came to Hartigan Power Equipment in 2022 with a mechanical engineering degree from Minnesota State University. He covers Southern Minnesota, Iowa, and Eastern South Dakota territories for Hartigan.

Kyle brings previous experience in project management of fire and safety system design and install to the company. He enjoys interacting with people while finding opportunities to keep learning and growing his knowledge. Kyle enjoys helping customers by providing them with full support from Hartigan’s manufacturers and himself.

Kyle enjoys the puzzle of his position, as it brings something new every day. He also appreciates stepping out of the cubicle, both literally and figuratively, as part of his job.

Kristin Lee
Operations Manager
Kristin Lee came to Hartigan Power Equipment in 2014 from Indiana. She handles the day-to-day flow of the business behind the scenes, including as manager of the inside sales team. Before joining Hartigan, Kristin worked as a manufacturer’s representative, where she worked as the inside sales lead and handled office management. Jen Borders
Inside Sales
Jen joined Hartigan Power Equipment in 2021 as an administrator, and she now covers all distributor accounts and manages all pricing blankets for repeat customers. She has a background in a variety of industries, including education and healthcare. Her current role includes supporting all of Hartigan’s distributors and their associated manufacturer’s lines, as well as a number of our other equipment lines.

Jen earned a Bachelor’s degree from Ball State in 2005. After completing an internship in Indianapolis, Jen jumped at the chance to move to Colorado, a place she loved visiting. She is now a 20-year resident of The Centennial State, where she spends her free time camping, paddleboarding, and enjoying the many Colorado lakes with friends and family.

Cathy Hartigan
Principal, Sales Engineer
Cathy Hartigan has worked in the utility industry for over 30 years in various roles. Before becoming Principal of Hartigan, she worked as a standard engineer for Commonwealth Edison (now Exelon) and a salesperson and a regional manager for what is now Megger, Inc.

Cathy became a manufacturer’s representative in 2002 when she joined Gorman Company as a partner and salesperson. In 2007, she purchased the Colorado office of Gorman Company and it became Hartigan Power Equipment. Under Cathy’s leadership, Hartigan became one of the highest-regarded manufacturer’s representatives in the Rocky Mountain and Midwest regions.

Cathy brings a strong knowledge of the utility industry and the manufacturers who service it. She is in consultant selling techniques and enjoys being a resource to her customers. She has a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a Master’s degree in business, a perfect match for her career as the leader of Hartigan Power Equipment.

Amie Lobben

Senior Inside Sales

Amie Lobben joined Hartigan Power Equipment in 2013. She has a strong background in customer service in a variety of industries. In her role with Hartigan, she has been Hartigan’s CRM administrator and our previous webmaster. She now works on the project-based lines, handling project timelines, customer support, and inside sales functions.

Fredi Muteba
Sales Engineer
Fredi Muteba joined Hartigan Power Equipment in 2024 as a sales engineer.

He graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines with a mechanical engineering degree. During college, he had internships in the R&D industry and the HVAC industry. Fredi went on to become a project manager at a Fire Protection company for two years before joining Hartigan.

In his free time, Fredi likes to spend time in the mountains either fishing, snowboarding, hiking, or exploring new areas with his Jeep. His favorite area in Colorado is the San Juan mountains, even though he grew up in the Denver area. Fredi takes an annual trip with his family to spend at least a long weekend in the San Juan mountains.
